ok, kind of in a holding pattern until I meet with my co-author tomorrow. So today I decided to collect a few articles that I came across months ago. Finally got to them today. My favorite today: "Cooking Without Women: The Rhetoric of the New Culinary Male." I worked from 8:30-10am today.
I am frantically putting together my notes and powerpoint slides for 5 AERA presentations (for non-edu people, that's the major ed research conference in the US each year). I'm counting this as writing work since these will be shaped into (or are in the process of being shaped into) papers or book chapters in the future. I worked on this for about three hours yesterday afternoon.
